The New World Order - Part 5

New World Order:
•The King's Dream
•Help From Above
•Rise of Empires
•Greece and Rome
•The 10 Divisions
•Next World Leader
•Revealer of Secrets
Scripture: "And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay." Daniel 2:41

According to the prophecy, the Kingdom of Rome would not be replaced by a fifth kingdom, but instead would be divided into ten parts and history bears record that this is exactly what happened.

The 10 Divisions of the
Roman Empire

Alemani (Germans)
Anglo-Saxons (English)
Bergundians (Swiss)
Lombards (Italians)
Suevi (Portuguese)
Francs (French)
Visigoths (Spanish)
Heruli (Extinct)
Vandals (Extinct)
Ostrogoths (Extinct)

The prophecy also said that some of these divisions would be notably strong, others notably weak, this has also happened as God predicted.

France, Germany, and Great Britian are economically and militarily strong nations, while Italy, Portugal, and Spain are relatively weak economically and militarily.

"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." Daniel 2:43

The prophecy also predicted that these former divisions of Rome would try to weld themselves together by intermarriage. Has this happened? Yes, the royal families of these various countries would have their sons and daughters marry into the royal families of neighboring countries. However, family fueds, wars, and bloodshed were often the result.

How much heartache and sorrow would have been averted if the leaders of these countries had remembered that God said "They shall not cleave one to another."

This prophecy is still being fulfilled today. The nations of Europe are still trying to join themselves together. For hundreds of years they have been unsuccessful.

God, through the prophet Daniel, reveals the future to the most powerful leader in the world.

Charlemagne - failed
Charles V - failed
Louis XIV - failed
Napolean Bonaparte - failed
Kaiser Wilhem in WWI - failed
Adolf Hitler in WWII - failed

Today Europe is trying to come together via economics by using the Euro - but they are still failing

Kings, rulers, and leaders have tried to weld the nations of Europe together by intermarriage, force, war, and economics.

Can you think of a method of welding Europe together that hasn't been mentioned yet?

The key to answering this question can be found in Daniel chapter 3. How did Nebuchadnezzar attempt to keep his kingdom together?

The Answer: By forcing everyone to participate in his man-made religion.
