The New World Order - Part 6
Scripture: "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." Daniel 2:44
Who is going to be the next world leader?
The Lord Jesus Christ is going to be the next world leader and God says the prophecy is certain and the interpretation sure.
This prophecy was written over 2000 years ago and everything has happened just as God predicted with the exception of one event. The setting up of the God's Kingdom.
Why does God stop the chain of events right here?
In the closing of earth's history the Bible describes a pretty bleak picture.
"...distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:" Luke 21:25-26

During this time of instability the Devil is going to do some tricky things to bring his man to the front to attempt to unite the world into a manmade system of worship. (This website will have more about this in the topics of the Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast - coming soon.)
"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy."
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."
"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."
"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" Revelation 13:1-4
The Devil will work through the antichrist and the false prophet to try to gain the worship of the entire world. Worship is what he has always wanted. He tried to get worship in heaven, and he was kicked out of heaven. He tried to get worship from Jesus when he was on the earth, he lost that battle too. Now, at the very end of time the Devil is going to try to gain the worship of the world again. But the Bible says he will not succeed. Praise the Lord for that!
"And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."
"And the beast was taken, and with
him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
